SING WE YULE - A MUSICAL PORTRAIT OF A

MEDIEVAL CHRISTMAS

This lecture uses illustrations from illuminated manuscripts, readings from literature and contemporary accounts, and the haunting songs and lively dance tunes of medieval England, to convey the joy and celebration of some and the hardship and suffering of others at Christmas time.
